Stamos stated in extortion case
Entertainment News Reporter Tuesday, July 13, 10:24 PM MARQUETTE, Michigan, USA (AP) - Actor John Stamos testified Tuesday that he did not use cocaine or improperly behaved six years ago with a minor who is accused of trying to extort $ 680,000 in exchange for not embarrassing display multiple photos. The star "ER" and "Full House" ("Three for Three") took the stand in his federal trial and acknowledged having a relationship flirting by email with the accused Allison Coss after spending time with her in 2004, but denied knowing she was 17 then. Stamos 46, also denied the charge of the defense attorney Sarah Henderson that he stripped and was in a jacuzzi with Cross, who was wearing only his underwear. He insisted that there were no pictures of him using drugs, although it was written on the internet with someone who claimed to have those photos. Coss, now aged 24, and Scott Sippola, 31, are accused of conspiracy and two counts extortion. If found guilty the pair of Marquette, Mich., could face up to five years in prison on charges of conspiracy and two years for each count of extortion. Stamos, who was questioned by prosecutors, Coss said he met in Orlando, Florida in 2004 after several friends took him there to try to cheer him up after separating from his wife, supermodel and actress Rebecca Romijn. "I was very lonely at that moment," he said. Stamos Coss said he met on Pleasure Island, a club Night where guests must be at least 18 to enter. According to the actor, Coss said he was on spring break "college." Actually I was a student in high school and used a fake ID to enter the club, said Henderson told jurors during opening statements Monday. Stamos said he did not spend much time together that night, but she gave him her phone. Next day went to Disney World and then to his hotel room where about 10 people had gathered. "We were just hanging out and talking," said the actor. Henderson said during opening statements that evening that Coss Stamos and met two women working as strippers showed up at the actor's hotel room with a bag of cocaine. Henderson said Stamos was photographed leaning on a table where he had placed the drug. The lawyer also said the actor offered him oral sex Coss, but she declined. Stamos did not face questions about alleged sexual offer during his testimony and did not address the issue. Judge Allan Edgar ruled last week that would not be allowed questions about the alleged sexual relationship between Coss and Stamos. But during questions from Henderson, Stamos said the indictment on the jacuzzi bath was false and insisted that he did not use cocaine. He stated that after his trip to Florida began to communicate with via email and Coss described their talks as "flirtatious" but "cordial." "It was very sweet. I considered her a friend, "said Stamos. The actor acknowledged that he asked Coss photos" hot "e-mail in 2007." Send me some pictures spicy, you're so sexy, sexy girl, "said one of his messages.
